Clothing Ministries

The Clothing Ministry is an expression of the church’s concern for people in need. This ministry provides for the distribution of clothing donated by Southern New England residents, striving to provide adequate clothing for families, homeless person, those in a transition from relocation or re-entry into the workforce, or any person with an identifiable need. The Cumberland Church was established in 2007 and continues to serve the people in our community each month.

Hours of Operation:
9:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m.
4:00 p.m. -5:30 p.m.

Volunteers are always needed to welcome and interview clients, assist clients in clothing selection, sort donations and provide financial contributions. This is a great opportunity for church groups and youth to accrue volunteer hours. For more information, please contact the church office at xxx-xxx-xxxx.

Donations are always welcomed! Clothing donations are accepted at our drop box every day and specialty items can be donated during Monday through Friday at the church, from 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

Toys and specialty items to the community – Cumberland Church shares the love of Christ with others each Thanks Giving and Christmas Through community baskets, flowers as well clothing. Our volunteers assisted and wrapped over 1,000 gifts for our Ministries clients within our community. Many lives have been touched through this ministry: not only the hearts of those in need but the volunteers who give their toy donations, time, money and prayers for this ministry.

Donations of toys and supplies are given by church members, Weekday Preschool families, Infant-Toddler parents and others to make our ministry a success.
